Frank Hay

Mr. Frank Hay is a guest instructor who visits the studio each Tuesday afternoon and evening. He instructs students in Ballet IV, as well as the intermediate and advanced students. Mr. Hay is well-known locally for his position as Ballet Master for the Chattanooga Ballet. In his youth, Mr. Hay danced with the Ballet West Company where he performed in major ballets including Bruce Mark’s Don Juan and Lark Ascending, as well as Balancine’s Four Temperaments, Serenade and Symphony in C. He has also danced with the Atlanta Ballet, the Tampa Ballet, and the Louisville Ballet which included a tour of Texas with Mikhail Baryshnikov. In addition to his duties as Ballet Master with Chattanooga Ballet, Frank teaches classes at all grade levels, and has restaged many of the works from the classical repertory including the second acts of Giselle and Swan Lake.
