Christine Thomas

Christine Thomas began her dance training with some of the best instructors in South Florida including Meg Segreto, Gerald Ebitz, Mary Turner and Barbara Sloan.  Christine further developed and refined her dance by taking numerous lessons from world-renowned dancers/instructors in New York City.  She is a former recipient of a Florida Dance Masters Scholarship in Jazz, and has performed at the King Orange Bowl Jamboree, the Ft. Lauderdale Opera and a number of charity events.  Christine is a certified teacher and member of Florida Dance Masters and was the director of the Florida Miss/Mr. Dance competition in 2000 and 2001.  She also has choreographed for the Miss Broward County Pageant as well as numerous academic schools.  In 2005, Christine became a certified Pilates instructor in all of the apparatuses and equipment.  She incorporates many of Joseph Pilates’ techniques when teaching dance at Cleveland City Ballet.  Christine currently resides in Chattanooga with her husband Gavin and 1-year-old daughter Mia.
