Arlynne Van Hook
Arlynne comes to the Cleveland City Ballet with a wealth of experience in the fine arts. Having attended a performing arts high school in San Francisco, Arlynne experienced a wide range of vocal, theatre and dance training, specializing in Voice, Ballet and Jazz. Arlynne participated in numerous major productions in the Bay area including
Oliver Twist, West Side Story, Guys and Dolls and
Christmas Revels. After high school, Arlynne continued her fine arts training at Lee University where she studied under Danny Murray in the Voices of Lee, a 16-member vocal orchestra group that travels extensively across the United States and abroad. As a senior at Lee, Arlynne appeared as Maria in
West Side Story. Arlynne currently teaches pre-Ballet at CCB and she freelances as a studio singer and back-up vocalist.
